Learning Resource Centers at Texas State Technical College
The Learning Resource Centers (LRC), located on all TSTC campuses, offer many services to assist students in achieving academic goals. Depending on location, LRC resources include:
- Books, eBooks, newspapers, magazines, journals, and special collections
- Computer access
- Electronic databases
- Email, chat, and phone based reference
- Free Wi-Fi
- Library Catalog
- Multimedia resources [DVD, CDs, Audiobooks, etc.]
- Printing and copying services
- Research Guides
- Study areas or meeting rooms
- Textbook loaning
- Tutoring
The LRC also participates in TexShare, a cooperative program designed to improve library services to Texans through the sharing of resources. TexShare Cards, which let cardholders borrow materials from other participating TexShare libraries, are available upon request for TSTC students and employees. Non-TSTC affiliates with a valid TexShare card from another TexShare library may borrow books from any TSTC LRC location.
