There are many ways to help finance your education. While we are proud of the fact that Texas State Technical College is affordable and a high return on your investment, we realize financing is the only option for some students.
Financial Aid and the resources it can provide are valuable to students who would otherwise be un¬able to go to college. It's important to realize that some types of aid may not cover all your expenses
Please keep in mind that:
Planning ahead for college and making efforts to obtain as much money as possible from other resources will make paying for college less stressful. This may be particularly helpful at the beginning of each term before financial aid funds are made available.
Please read the Texas State Technical College Consumer Guide and keep for your records when applying for aid.
And remember — you must complete enrollment requirements with Admissions & Records Office before any financial aid can be awarded.
An institutional financial aid professional is expected to always maintain exemplary standards of professional conduct in all aspects of carrying out his or her responsibility and follow the Code of Conduct for Institutional Financial Aid Professionals.
If you are an incoming freshmen who plans on enrolling as a full-time student at TSTC, a tool you can use for a rough approximation of financial aid, is the Net Price Calculator. Although the calculator is not designed to replace the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a complete financial aid award package provided by a college financial aid office, it can help guide you.
