Financial Aid Although an education at Texas State Technical College is reasonably priced, financial assistance is available to students. A variety of programs are available at each of the TSTC locations including Federal Pell Grant program, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant Program, Federal and Texas Work-Study Program, TEXAS Grant Program, TEOG Grant Program, Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans, parent loans and scholarships. Call the TSTC Marshall Financial Aid Office to determine how we can help you. TSTC's philosophy is to provide financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue a postsecondary education. However, the primary responsibility for paying the cost of a college education lies with the student and his/her family. Funds are available through the Financial Aid Office to supplement those resources. TSTC Financial Aid Office staff are available to assist students with financial aid questions and concerns. Texas State Technical College Marshall is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award Associate of Applied Science degrees and Certificates of Completion. Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097, 404-679-4500 or Website: http://www.sacscoc.org for questions about the accreditation of Texas State Technical College Marshall. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges should be contacted only if there is evidence that appears to support TSTC Marshall's significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard related to accreditation.
