Welcome Letter
Dear Prospective Student:
Welcome to the Design Manufacturing Technology (DMT) Department and thank you for the opportunity to present an exciting career that is a blend of old and new technologies in industry. This program overview is provided to assist you in making an informed decision in your educational career. It is our hope that the DMT Program will be that choice.
The instructors of the DMT program are dedicated in providing the necessary educational tools, hands-on experience, and technological skills needed to be successful in the dynamic fields needed in industry today. We have partnered with several industries to help insure that our programs meet the demands of today's employers. Technology is moving into all areas of industry at an alarming rate and skilled technicians are needed now more than ever.
This certificate program includes classroom and laboratory instruction that focuses on building experience in many different emerging technologies. DMT students have the opportunity to participate in internships and cooperative programs that allow you to work in industry and get college credit at the same time.
If you have any questions or would like to tour the college facilities, please contact Debra McIntosh, Coordinator of Recruitment, at 903-923-3205 or me. We will be happy to schedule a time to talk with you and discuss your future educational needs.
Sincerely,
Wayne Dillon
