A certificate track is also available. This certificate is intended to enhance knowledge and skills, which the student already holds, or to provide him/her with the ability to accomplish tasks and functions, which could normally be assigned to an experienced employee in the industrial or construction workplace as relates to safety compliance.

A person attempting this certificate is expected to possess a basic knowledge of safety issues, policies and procedures in the industrial and/or construction workplace.

The Program Chair must approve entry into this certificate program.
