As a student in the Safety Compliance program, you can train for a career as a safety professional to assist companies establish programs to prevent industrial and occupational injuries. Safety compliance technologists are responsible for interpreting safety regulations, policies and procedures and for enforcing government safety codes. The Safety Compliance program is designed to give you the training you need to help companies comply with current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and State of Texas regulations, codes and standards. An important job requires serious and specific training, educational training that Texas State Technical College Marshall offers in its Environmental Health, Safety & Quality Technology program.
