Dear Prospective Student:

Thank you for your interest in the Quality Certificate program. At TSTC Marshall, the Quality program is offered within the Enterprise Systems Division that includes Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHSQ). Environmental health and safety personnel work in industry to assure worker safety and environmental protection.

The Quality program offers only a certificate of completion. The student learns how to read blueprints and schematics, measurement instruments, and principles of quality in a 42 semester hour program. The program is designed for people who work in quality inspection that need formal training and desire to enhance their knowledge in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.

Our program offers hands-on training for the techniques used in quality assurance and control that a Quality Technician would require in his/her performance of duties related to quality concepts & tools; statistical techniques; metrology and calibration; inspection & testing; sampling; quality audits; and preventive & corrective actions; along with many other hands-on techniques. You will learn computer skills that are needed in the quality assurance/control industry such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and compliance spread sheets and compliance e-forms. The training you receive at TSTC will provide you with an up-to-date education in quality assurance.
