Quality Assurance

With the growing manufacturing community in the state of Texas there is a need to assure that the products the firms are producing meet quality specifications. The Quality Assurance Technology certificate in the Environmental Health, Safety & Quality Technology Program prepares the student for a career in quality assurance and control. The program is designed to provide the student with inspection, analysis, statistical process control, quality standards, and soft and hard skills related to meet the requirements needed in today's fast paced manufacturing environment. The successful student will be qualified to take the American Society for Quality "Certified Quality Technician" (CQT) certification examination. This is a certification in the professional field of Quality Assurance and Control.
