Environmental Health and Safety

According to the American Electronics Association and NASDAQ, the Texas State Technical College System is one of only four colleges in Texas to rank in the top 50 nationwide for engineering degrees and engineering technology.

As a student in the Environmental Health and Safety program, you can train for a career as a safety professional to assist companies establish programs to prevent industrial and occupational injuries. Environmental Health and Safety technologists are responsible for interpreting safety regulations, policies and procedures and for enforcing government safety codes.

The Environmental Health and Safety program is designed to give you the training you need to help companies comply with current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and State of Texas regulations, codes and standards.

An important job requires serious and specific training, educational training that Texas State Technical College Marshall offers in its Environmental Health and Safety program.
