Construction Safety

According to the American Electronics Association and NASDAQ, the Texas State Technical College System is one of only four colleges in Texas to rank in the top 50 nation wide for engineering degrees and engineering technology.

The student in Construction Safety Management will gain skills to assist construction companies in implementing rules and regulations to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. This program is ideal for the individual with previous construction experience; however, such experience is not mandatory. The program provides advanced training and education needed by safety professionals in the construction field. You will learn proper techniques of site surveys, inspections and audits as required by federal and state regulatory agencies. You will also learn about construction technology, construction methods & materials, construction estimating, construction management, project management, in addition to requirements of the following regulatory agencies; OSHA, EPA, DOT, TCEQ as they apply to the construction industry.

An important job requires serious and specific training, educational training that TSTC offers in its Environmental Health, Safety & Quality program.
